Our team of professionals works closely together to give you the clearer, healthier, and younger looking skin that you deserve. Depending on the severity of your skin condition, you may only need to use one of our Over-the-Counter systems, or you may be recommended to follow one of the stronger medical strength programs such as, the Obagi Nu-Derm® system. After customizing a program for home use, results can be enhanced and accelerated by having one or any combination of our results-oriented facials, peels, laser treatments, or injections. Remember, our estheticians provide free one-on-one consultations to initially evaluate your skin and make a recommendation for the best course of treatment.
Sandra Obagi, MBA
Medical Aesthetician
Sandra became a board certified esthetician in 1994. She spent her first year as an esthetician working with several prominent plastic surgeons to develop and refine her medical aesthetics background. Thereafter, she spent seven years working for Obagi Medical Products (OMPI) in pharmaceutical sales and later transitioned as their Special Projects Manager, providing education, technical support, and coordinating large training sessions to physicians utilizing Obagi across the USA. In 2002, she joined Dr. Obagi’s private practice full-time to develop and expand the results oriented facials, retail sales, and medical aesthetic aspect of his clinics.
She is responsible for performing medical aesthetic treatments to restore skin health, consulting and starting patients on the Obagi System, and managing the overall operation of the San Gabriel Clinic. She works closely with the doctors at the Beverly Hills location to utilize the latest advancements in non-invasive methods to restore skin health. Ms. Obagi performs all of her services in affiliation with world-renowned dermatologist, Dr. Zein E. Obagi. She has a diverse scope of knowledge about the dermatology and retail business. Recently, she has spent her time between managing the clinics and providing onsite retail support to medical spas and flagship Nordstrom stores throughout the country, including making personal appearances and training estheticians to perform certain facials and product education.
Ms. Obagi received both her Master's Degree in Business Administration (2003) and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management (1999) from California State University, Northridge. “I believe that superficial beauty runs only skin deep… true beauty is revealed from the heart and sole. I have a passion for making the ‘appearance of skin better’ and am able to make the first thing a person notices when they look at you (your skin) beautiful… However, it is what it is the beauty that comes from within that really matters.”
Dianne Bedford, MSN, NP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Dianne Bedford, joined the Obagi Skin Health Institute with a wealth of experience and knowledge from spending over 15-years working with some of Southern California’s most prominent plastic surgeons. This affords her a distinct and unique ability to deliver unsurpassed results. Dianne received her Master of Science in Nursing (2004) and Bachelors degree in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles. She also possesses National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
She has working in the field of nursing for over 25 years and was employed as a registered nurse for 15 years before obtaining her Masters degree and license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner. Her experience ranges from forensic and emergency care nursing to over-seeing and working hands-on with several well established out-patient surgical centers. These surgical facilities performed procedures such as, facelifts, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation and reconstruction, and liposuction – in addition to skincare or facial resurfacing with peels/lasers.
Dianne has worked side-by-side Dr. Obagi, since 2003. She is based in the Beverly Hills, location, but provides her services to San Gabriel patients on a monthly basis and by appointment. Dianne has been personally trained by Dr. Obagi and provides a broad-range of services and procedures including but not limited to, dermatology consultations, artistic injection techniques for Botox® and Juvederm®, sclerotherapy, laser resurfacing procedures, FLPD, and Fraxel® laser resurfacing. Most services including the Obagi Blue Peel® and injections are performed at the San Gabriel, location by Dianne.
Cherry Cherry
Licensed in Medical Aesthetics
Cherry started working at the Obagi Skin Health Institute for her advanced medical esthetics education and has stayed on thereafter. Cherry is very versed in the art and science of restoring healthy skin. “I believe that everyone deserves to have beautiful skin and that it is quite possible with the right treatment. I want to make people look and feel their best and it is so easy when you can do it through skin.
Cherry uses her talents and services to work closely works with Asian skin types, which are more susceptible to brown spots and sensitive skin. She has been extensively trained by Dr. Obagi and Sandra Obagi to deliver and provide a comprehensive approach to restoring healthy skin- Cherry delivers unsurpassed results to the clients she treats. She is fluent in Indonesian and speaks conversational Mandarin.
